Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment Review

The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment is a two in one treatment. The treatment is aimed to give an awaken appearance to the eye, smooth/protect and contains anti-aging properties.,,

My reasoning for trying out the treatment is that I'm always looking to try out new products that can possibly help to make my skincare and make-up application easier. I like the idea of a concealed under-eye. But I'm not really fond of the idea of applying a heavy concealer and then having to use a powder to set the area.

My first application of the treatment I used it over my regular eye cream in the AM. I also applied way too much. Please Note: When using this treatment a little goes a veryyy long way and only a rice grain portion size is needed.

This small rice grain size is enough for both eyes. I found the treatment thicker than expected. The treatment did take some time to blend out and the best way to do this is with your fingers. I used the treatment in shade Candlelight. Initially, I thought the color was too light, but after blending it out it looked really nice.

To not have a bias opinion, I've also tried the Tatcha Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment without using an eye cream. The results were basically the same. The treatment alone provides enough hydration for me to soley use it alone.

Can the Tatcha Pearl Tinted Treatment Replace Concealer?

That all depends on the person and the look that is trying to be achieved.

The product provides more of an illumination than concealer coverage. I do think the Tatcha The Pearl Tinted Eye Illuminating Treatment provided me with enough coverage for everyday look when I'm not wearing makeup. I don't think the treatment would do much for someone with extremely dark circles under their eyes. I like that the treatment does not crease on me and hours later my under eyes are still feeling smooth.

Please Note: The treatment feels a little tacky to the touch under the eye. I'm not sure how this would work with a concealer. It could be a blessing or a curse--by providing a good base or

Is it worth the price?

Size 13ml/0.4fl oz. retails for $48.00. If you're someone using this alone or maybe with a moderate price eye cream, then I think price tag is not too bad. But if you're the eye treatment along with eye cream and a concealer that all adds up to be on the pricier side.

I'm still on the fence in regards purchasing the full size as a little of the product. I do like that a little bit of the product goes a long way. I intent on using the rest of my treatment of the sample on an everyday basis when I'm not wearing makeup.. The illumination that it provides for me is sufficient enough to not need concealer when using the treatment.
