Your Complete Guide to Glosser & Affiliate Information

First let me say, I just got accepted as a Glossier affiliate*. When Glossier first dropped on to my radar I was so intrigued by their fun pink esthetic. Living here in NYC, I’m able to go to the showroom to check out products in person. By doing so, I’ve acquired many products. I thought I would share my thoughts on the products I have tried out.

make-up

I feel like the overall vibe of the Glossier esthetic is a “no makeup” makeup type of look. The finish on most of their products are light, dewy and perfect for an everyday type of look. The Glossier Play Line is more on the party side. It’s very fun with a lot of glitz and glam. The skincare line is another one of their lines that I have not ventured into yet, but I have my eye on a few things to pick up.

MASCARA- Glossier Lash Slick

Price: $16
I’m super picky about my mascara and there’s not many that I actually like. Prior to purchasing the Lash Slick mascara, I was told that the mascara gives a nice day time-everyday type of look. The description is basically summed up as a curling, sculpting and lengthening type of mascara. It has tiny fibers that helps to coat the lashes. The formula is described as being water-resistant, which makes it stays smudge resistant and easy to remove at the end of the day.

The mascara wand is plastic and has tiny teeth on the combs, this type of wand helps to distribute products to the lashes very well. I like that the formula is not clumpy. The Lash Slick wand helps to define my lashes and gives a great finish. The Lash Slick is actually less expensive than my regular go-to mascara too!

BLUSH- Cloud Paint

Price: $18

Prior to cloud paint, I was not much a blush type of person. It’s described as a light-weight gel texture that builds up easily on the skin. I have the shade Storm (warm rose). I typically apply a small amount to my finger tips and tap it into my cheeks. Whatever product that is left over on my fingers, I apply to my eye lids. I find the formula to be very beginner friendly. It also dries down well and doesn’t slip around on my face.

CONCEALER- Stretch Concealer

Price: $18

If you like a hydrating concealer with light coverage, this is the one for you. If you like matte full coverage concealers, this is not the one for you. The Stretch Concealer is described as a buildable coverage that leaves a glowy finish.

I pretty much prefer a light coverage concealer that is hydrating. For me this concealer is perfect and the price is right. I always set this along with every other concealer that I use with a light translucent powder. If this is not set, it can and will probably slip around on the face. This is my go concealer for under eyes. I have a shade that’s about 1-2 shades lighter than my skin tone. I don’t have much darkness to my under-eye area, so the stretch concealer provides me with adequate coverage.

The price and the performance are winners for me and I will continue to repurchase!

BROW GEL/POMADE- Boy Brow

Price: $16

The Boy Brow is described as a soft hold brow pomade. It’s formulated with Oleic Acid, Lecithin, and Atelocollagen to condition and moisturize brows. It comes in 4 shades (blonde, brown, black and clear). I purchased the black shade. It adds a nice tint to my eye brows that is not overpowering and doesn’t look harsh. Out of the many brow products that I’ve tried, I really enjoyed this one. I would definitely repurchase this in the future!

Lip Products

Lip Gloss

Price: $14

The glossier lip gloss is mini, but it packs a punch when it comes to shine. The gloss comes in 3 shades (clean, red and holographic). The formula is very much on the thicker side as most traditional glosses are. I do think they’re on the pricey side for the amount of product that is in the gloss. If you’re thinking purchasing the gloss, I would recommend picking up the trio or purchasing one of the kits that includes the gloss.

Balm dot com

Price: $12

The Balm dot com are described as an everything balm. They can be used on the lips, hands and face. The highly emollient formula is great for dry skin. The balms are available in 8 different flavors. Once you purchase one, you’re likely to purchase more. I have the mango and birthday cake flavors. This is definitely a product I’ll continue to purchase.

Body

YOU Perfume

Price: $60

The Glossier You Perfume is described as a musky scent that adapts to your skin chemistry. I originally purchased the solid formula of it and then quickly purchased the full size eau de parfum. I like that the scent is unisex. It’s not too feminine or too masculine. The perfume last on the skin for a decent amount of time. I think the price of $60 is on target and is not too expensive.

Hand Cream

Price: $18

The hand cream smells like a lighter version of the signature You perfume. The packaging of the lotion is in a cute squeeze bottle that almost resembles ear pods. The texture is more on the lighter cream side and absorbs into the skin well. It’s definitely an item that would make as a great gift.
