June ‘22 Empties and it’s better late than never, right?! This month I finished a good amount of mini products. The one product that stood out to me was the Bread Hair Oil. Being that I’ve already repurchased it, its safe to say its very much a favorite of mine as well!

+Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Hyaluronic Acid Cloud Hydrating Toner Mist
Price- $28
The Peter Thomas Roth Hyaluronic Acid Toner Mist was one of the nicest spray on toner mists that I’ve tried in a long time. Many toners and mists claim to be moisturizing, but I really felt like this one left my skin looking and feeling moisturized. I really enjoyed using this in my morning routines when I was looking for something fast and lightweight. This is not the type of toner I would use with a cotton round, although you could if you want. But I see this as more of hydrating product and not purifying.
+ Josie Maran Pineapple Enzyme Cleanser- [previously reviewed]
Price: $29 for 5 oz full size (mini pictured 1oz $5.80)
This cleanser is made with pineapple enzymes and has a gel like consistency. I think this is a great overall cleanser that cleanses well without over drying my face. I’m happy I have a full size in my collection as I’m looking forward to opening it soon.
+Summer Fridays Jet Lag Mask Mini (previously reviewed here)
Price: $26 for 1oz
I had so many mixed feelings on the jet lag mask over the years. I tried the original, which contained fragrance when it released years ago and the reformulated version. This empty is of the reformulated version that is fragrance free. I found the overall texture and consistency of it to be the same and I feel like it performed the same way the original formula had. I used the mask almost as a wash-off treatment. Typically, I would apply a nice layer to my skin and let it sit on for like 30 minutes and then wipe off or rub in the excess that was left. I liked the mask, but didn’t love it. I don’t think it had much of a wow effect and because of this along with the price, I wouldn’t purchase it.
+Caudalie Instant Detox Mask (previous review)
Price: $39 for 2.5oz (pictured 0.5 oz sample size)
The Instant Detox Mask is a clay mask that says it visibly tightens pores in as little as 10 minutes. The mask itself has a pink hue to it and as it dries down I can definitely see the texture of the mask change in the oilier areas of my face. Unlike many other clay masks that really dry out the skin, I’m happy to say this one provides a nice balance. This a mask I know I’ll repurchase, but I’ll likely wait for it to go on sale.
+Farmacy Cherry Clean Cleansing Balm
Price: $36 for 3.4oz
The Farmacy Cleansing Balm is well loved by many and if you were to try it out, you would easily understand why! The first step to a good night time skincare routine is started with some type of balm or oil to breakdown makeup, spf and dirt. This particular cleansing balm is formulated with sunflower and ginger root oils along with Turmeric and Moringa Extract. The consistency starts off as a balm and quickly melts into an oil texture. Overall, I love how gentle the formula is to my skin and my eye area. I’ll definitely continue to repurchase.
+Naturium Fermented Rice Enzyme Cleanser
Price: $21.99 for 4oz
The Fermented Rice Cleanser is described as a gentle exfoliating cleanser that is formulated with fermented rice filtrate, fruit enzymes and natural, biodegradable micro-powders. This was a nice cleanser when I was looking for a light level of exfoliation. It did that and I didn’t find it to be drying to my skin. I really thought this cleanser would be a dupe for the Tatcha The Rice Wash Skin-Softening Cleanser, but overall I preferred the creamy texture of the Tatcha cleanser more.
+ Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer
Price: $28
The Kosas concealer is a super creamy in consistency and provides a medium coverage. It also states that it provides the benefits of an eye cream, spot treatment and visibly brightens. The concealer is formulated with caffeine, hyaluronic acid, arnica and panthenol. This ingredient blend is great for providing moisture, helping with eye bags and nourishing the under-eye area. I reach for this concealer when I’m looking for a lightweight and light coverage concealer. It can be built up for a medium coverage, but overall I would say it’s very much on the light coverage side. It’s great for my “no makeup” makeup days. It also claims to not crease, but I don’t think the formula can only do so much with regards to creasing for my under eyes. I love it and since finishing it I’ve opened up a new tube!
+ Elf Camo Hydrating Concealer
Price: $7
This is a full coverage- but more on the hydrating side for a concealer. It’s described as a satin finish and I think it’s spot on. I’m not the biggest fan of very full coverage concealers since I keep my makeup applications pretty light, but this is one I enjoyed using. Based on the price point and the way it performs, I’ll definitely repurchase it again in the future.
+ Sephora Collection Bright Future Gel Serum Under Eye Concealer
Price: $15
The Sephora Gel Serum Concealer is described as a lightweight concealer that provides medium coverage with a natural finish. The coverage is buildable and is more on the hydrating side. I enjoyed using it while I had it, but I don’t think I’ll repurchase it anytime soon. I say this because I have another concealer in my collection that I enjoy using more.
+ Em Cosmetics - PICK ME UP VOLUME + LENGTH MASCARA
Price: $24
This is a tubing mascara formulated with hyaluronic acid, rice extract and pro vitamin B. The wand itself seems to have a plastic applicator that almost looks spiky. These are my favorite types of applicator as I feel like the help to provide length, define the lashes and I like how flexible they are. I like how easy this one is to remove with water and it’s not messy. As much as I like this one, I didn’t love it. There’s a few other mascaras that I prefer over this one.
Price: $260 for 0.5 oz (sample size of 0.17 oz)
The eye concentrate is a hydrating eye cream that is said to reduce the look of dark circles, lines and wrinkles. i can’t attest to the brightening as I only had a small sample to work with, but I did find it to be very hydrating. I loved using this particularly in my morning routine. As much as I like it, there’s no way I could afford to keep up with this price tag, but I’m happy that I had the opportunity to test it out.

+ Bread Beauty Mini Everyday Hair Gloss Oil
Price: $14.99 for 30ml
The Bread Oil is a silicone free oil that is made with a mixture of oils like- Kakadu Plum Oil, Safflower Oil, Sweet Almond Oil and Castor Oil. I used this both on my hair when its in natural curly-coily state and while my hair has been flat ironed and I love it for both. Unlike other oils that I’ve tried, I feel like this blend doesn’t just coat my hair but really helps to keep it moisturized. I didn’t find the oil too heavy for when I wore my hair is straight and it’s not too light for when it’s curly. I purchased the mini back in November and I just finished it in June. The mini is a great size for me since I don’t need a lot of oil at a time and its perfect for travel. Best of all the oil smells like grape. I’ve already repurchased another mini.
Price: $38 for 8oz
The Ouai Thick Hair Mask is said to restore hydration, repair damage and provide shine. It’s formulated with an oil blend of almond, macadamia, and olive. The overall mask itself has a thick consistency, so only a small of product is needed per application. After each application I could see and feel a difference with my hair and it automatically felt softer, conditioned and really helped to smooth out tangles. Being that I really like the way this one performs, I would definitely consider repurchasing in the future.
+The Inkeylist Hyaluronic Serum
Price: $8.99 for 1oz
The Inkeylist Hyaluronic Acid is face serum, but I decided to try out the trend of using is it in my hair to see if I would reap any of the benefits. Hyaluronic acid is known for pulling in moisture and locking it in. I tried using it when deep conditioning and also misting my hair with water first and then applying a few drops. Both methods resulted in my hair feeling noticeably moisturized. Based on the price point and how well it performed, I plan on trying out this method with other hyaluronic acid serums in my collection. Eventually I will come back to this one when I’m ready to repurchase.

+European Wax Center Slow Body Scrub
Price: $16 for 6.7oz
A body scrub that exfoliates and helps to slow down hair growth? Sign me up! I used this scrub in both areas that I’ve waxed and shaved and I really think helped to slow down hair growth. The scrub itself is formulated with coconut oil and Vitamin E. The scrub has more of a creamy texture and I found it gentle enough for even sensitive areas. I think its priced well for how it performed and I love the coconut scent, but it also comes in Aloe/Unscented.
+Maude pH Balanced Body Wash and Bubble Bath
Price: $22 for 12oz
The Maude Body Wash is pH balanced and can be used all over the body. It’s formulated with Omega-3, -6, and -0 and Vitamins B3, B5, C, and E to help condition the body as it cleanses. It was a nice body cleanser to use when my skin felt dry and irritated. I find it difficult to find really bubbly bubble bath formulas that are unscented. I absolutely plan on repurchasing it to use for bubble baths. I think it priced well for it how performs and how much product is given.
+Bliss Lemon and Sage Body Cream
Price: $13 for 6.7 oz
The Bliss body cream is described as rich quick absorbing moisturizer for dry skin. Yes, the body cream has the conventional cream consistency, but on the skin it almost feels like a gel moisturizer. This is not a moisturizer I would use in the fall or winter months, but I loved it for the summer months- especially on days that are really humid. The moisturizer absorbs well and doesn’t feel sticky on the skin, but I do not think this would moisturize my skin well enough for the winter months.
+Kate Somerville Exfolikate Resurfacing Body Scrub
Price: $56 for 5oz
The Kate Somerville is both a physical and chemical exfoliant scrub formulated with Lactic and Salicylic Acid. The scrub quickly emulsifies with water, so only a little bit of product is needed per application. The scrub is more on the gritty side and I really like the level of physical exfoliation that it provided. I focused the scrub more on areas that I suffer from KP (keratosis pilaris) like my arms and legs. I think it did a good job to smooth out these areas to and make them appear smoother. As much as I like this scrub, I think the $56 price tag to be pretty steep as this only lasted me 3 months.
+ Eucerin Daily Hydration Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen Body Cream for Dry Skin (previous review here)

This is one of my favorite drugstore sunscreens. I’ve been used it both on my face and body. Overall, I think it’s such a great affordable body sunscreen that moisturizes well and also helps to protect my body. At this point I’ve purchased several tubes and will continue to do so. If you’re looking for an affordable body scrub for day to day, definitely check this one out!
