Product Empties - June 2018

As a beauty junkie finishing a product is actually a big deal for me. Listed below are some of my recent product empties for the month of June. As mentioned in my last post of NO BUY Challenge, I'm make more of an effort to log my product reviews along with finishing products in my collection prior to buying new ones [at least for the month of July ;)].

Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb: Full Size $48.00

Review

Described as an lightweight eye cream that smooths fine lines with a 26-hour burst of moisture, boosts elasticity.

I received a deluxe size sample of the Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb in a previous Sephora Playbox. I solely used the eye bomb as a PM eye cream due to its heavier texture. I really love using heavier eye creams that are really moisturizing at night. However, I don't believe it provided me with 26-hour of moisture. (Keep in mind I don't have very dry under eyes)

I have noticed that the Belif Moisturizing Eye Bomb is really great for decreasing puffiness around the eyes. Upon the application I can see a difference within a few minutes. I can't attest to the anti-aging properties. I will say a little of the product goes a long way; thus making the product cost effective in comparison to other eye creams on the market.

Will I purchase/repurchase? No, I'm extremely critical about eye creams and I don't think it did much for me.

Pixi by Petra LipLift Max Lipgloss (Sheer Rose) $14.00

Review

I usually wouldn't spend this much on a lipgloss from Target, but one of my favorite YouTuber's often raved about this lipgloss. The gloss has a minty smell and is supposed to plump your lips. I can't say that I notice a difference in regards to lip plumping after using it. I more so purchased the gloss for the nude color. The color is as described a Sheer Rose. The gloss is not sticky and fades nicely over time.

Will I repurchase it? No. I don't think the product is worth the price tag of $14.00.

Garnier Micellar Water $6.99

micellarwater.jpg

Described as powerful, but yet gentle cleanser to remove makeup, dirt and refresh the skin. The water is made for all skin types!

How to use: TO REMOVE EYE MAKEUP: Hold pad over closed eyes for a few seconds, then gently wipe without harsh rubbing.

TO CLEAN SKIN & REMOVE FACE MAKEUP: Gently wipe all over until skin is completely clean from makeup and impurities. Use daily, AM/PM. No need to rinse.

I've been using the Garnier Miceller water for a few years. I honestly can only say good things about this product. I ONLY like the All-in- 1 version (pink cap), which is the regular formula. I love how gentle this product is at removing all make-up, especially eye make up. I use this to remove my make-up and also as a refresher to cleanse my skin.

I absolutely hate the Water-Proof version (blue cap). I believe it's an oil based. When I used it left my skin oily and dry. When required me needing to wash my face after. I was so disappointed in the product that I couldn't finish it and had to give it away!

Ingredients- Aqua / Water, Hexylene Glycol, Glycerin, Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Disodium Edta, Poloxamer 184, Polyaminopropyl Biguanide Fil B162919/3

Will I repurchase it again? I will continue to repurchase the product as its very cost effective. The 13.5 oz bottle last me around 6 months.
