This mud mask is not like any others that I’ve tried. The Mint Mud Mask contains Lactic Acid and jojoba oil beads to provide a chemical and exfoliation treatment in one. This mask works fairly quickly and is not too difficult to remove. After the mask is removed, my skin feels soft and refreshed. I didn’t experience any dryness from the mask. I enjoyed using this once a week as a refresher for my skin. It’s marketed as being good for all skin types, but I feel like this one would be especially great for oily skin types. Also, if you enjoy the scent of peppermint, you’re going to love this. The peppermint scent adds into the sensory experience and makes using this mask a little more relaxing.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Kaolin, Bentonite, Glycerin, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Jojoba Esters, Lactic Acid, Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil*, Lactobacillus Ferment, Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, Allantoin, Xanthan Gum, Octyldodecanol, Sorbitan Oleate, Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Potassium Sorbate, Menthol, Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, May Contain +/- Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288).*Certified Organic.
Clean Skin Towels XL – 50 count
Price $15 (Save 20% code with my code BEAUTYETCBLOG)
The clean skin towel are biodegradable disposable towels that can be used to wash and dry your face. The notion behind using them is to use a clean towel for each and every time you wash/dry your face.
The towels are extremely durable, soft and helps to not spread bacteria/germs on your face. I’ve been using these for the past year and I now purchase 2 boxes at a time. I love the XL large size. I usually cut them in half to get a little more for my money. I find that the towels are decently sized (think like the size of a paper towel). These towels now have become a staple in my routine!
Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber Gel Mask Extreme De-Tox Hydrator
Price: $55 for 5oz
I didn’t think I was going to like this mask as much as I did! I love the gel texture and found it to be so soothing on skin. The Cucumber Extract is known to help to nourish, hydrate, comfort, soothe, calm and de-puff the appearance of skin. I reached for this mask at least 1-2x a week. Even with that frequency of usage, the mask lasted a pretty long time. This is definitely a product I would use and purchase in the future!

Peter Thomas Roth Niacinamide Discoloration Treatment
Price $88 for 1.7 oz
One of the best treatments that I’ve used to help fade dark spots! This treatment is formulated with a blend of Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid and Kojic Acid, which are all known to be great ingredients for diminishing dark spots.
The texture of the serum feels like a light weight cream. It’s recommended to be used twice a day. With usage almost every day at the rate of 2x a day, it lasted me well past 6 months! I have a backup of this ready to be used! I know it’s a pricier product, but I’ve seen great results from it. If you’re on the fence about this one, I would recommend picking it up during a Sephora sale, as I’ve never seen it on sale during any other time periods.
Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Niacinamide, Isononyl Isononanoate, Dimethyl Isosorbide, Tranexamic Acid, Dimethicone, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Caprylic/Capric Triglycerides, Alpha-Arbutin, Glyceryl Stearate, C9-12 Alkane, Cetyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Citric Acid, Kojic Acid, Morus Alba (White Mulberry) Root Extract, Resveratrol, Scutellaria Lateriflora Extract, Hydrangea Arborescens Root Extract, Squalane, Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Phenoxyethanol, Peg-100 Stearate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Polyacrylate Crosspolymer-6, Peg-75 Stearate, Ceteareth-20, Steareth-20, Silica, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/Beheneth-25 Methacrylate Crosspolymer, Dimethiconol, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Titanium Dioxide, Sodium Phytate, Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Polysorbate 60, Polysorbate 20, T-Butyl Alcohol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Caprylyl Glycol, Hexylene Glycol, Sorbitan Isostearate.
Price $34 for 4.2 oz
Definitely a product that lives up to is name. This cleanser is made with soothing ingredients like Rosa Damascena, Oat Kernel Oil and glycerin. This combination really helps to cleanse and moisturize the skin. With many cleansers after you wash your face, it tends to feel stripped, well this one is very much an opposite of those. The cleanser itself is on the creamy side and doesn’t foam. I really enjoyed using this during the cooler and dry months. It was great for both my morning and pm routines. Lastly, if you like the scent of Chamomile, you’re going to love this. In my opinion, it smells very similar to it. I do think this is a cleanser that would work for multiple skin types.
Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Disodium Cocoamphodiacetate, Propanediol, Avena Sativa Kernel Oil, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Gluconolactone, Carrageenan, Rosa Rubiginosa (Sweet Briar Rose) Seed Oil, Sodium Benzoate, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena (Damask Rose) Flower Oil, Citronellol, Geraniol.
Glow Recipe Blueberry Cleanser
Price: $10 for mini
I received this mini of the Blueberry Cleanser from a Glow Recipe travel kit. The cleanser is described as a gentle cleanser that is formulated with antioxidants (blueberries), hyaluronic acid and gentle aha’s. I originally started testing this in the winter and I immediately noticed that my skin felt stripped after using it,. I put it aside to test out during the warmer months and it was okay since my skin tends to get oily in the summer.
With that being said, I could only use this cleanser a few times a week. This not a cleanser that I can see myself purchasing or using in the future as I think it was a little too drying for my skin. Even though my skin is pretty much on the oilier side, I prefer to use hydrating or balancing cleansers in my routine.
Ingredients: Water, Palm Kernel/Coco Glucoside, Caulerpa Lentillifera (Seaweed) Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium (Blueberry) Fruit, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Physalis Peruviana (Groundcherry) Fruit Extract, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Fruit Extract, Arctostaphylos Uva Ursi (Bearberry) Leaf Extract, Morus Nigra (Mulberry) Fruit Extract, Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Fruit Extract, Beta-Glucan, Scutellaria Baicalensis (Skullcap) Root Extract, Paeonia Suffruticosa (Peony) Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Betaine, Sodium Chloride, Fragrance.
Full Size: $99 for 2.5 oz (deluxe mini featured but not factored into overall empties value total.)
I received a mini in one of those Sephora compilation kits. As someone who loves using toners and essences in my routine, I had to try this one out since its commonly mentioned. If you’re not sure how or why to use an essence in your routine, check out my previous post FACIAL ESSENCES: WHAT ARE FACE ESSENCES AND HOW TO USE THEM? This particular essence is known for not containing many ingredients, but also for the usage of PITERA, a yeast extract derived from a strictly controlled natural fermentation process. Many of the essences that I’ve tried in the past is almost like a thick water. I found the SKII to feel just like regular water. I like the essence, but I don’t love it or think it’s worth the price tag. If I’m using an essence in my routine, I prefer it to be super hydrating. Perhaps, this may be one of those products that you need to use for a significant amount of time before you notice a difference.
Ingredients: Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate*, Butylene Glycol, Pentylene Glycol, Water, Sodium Benzoate, Methylparaben, Sorbic Acid. *PITERA™.

The whipped pudding is a light weight pudding great for moisturizing the hair without weighing it down. I really enjoyed this mini and will definitely repurchase in the future!
Creme of Nature Argan Oil Perfect Edges Extra Hold
Price: $5.49 for 2.25oz
I’ve been enjoying this in place of gel to slick back my hair for ponytails and buns! I go back and forth between this and the CURLS Pomade. I find they work similar for a slick light hold, but the Creme of Nature is about half the price!

First Aid Beauty- KP Eraser Scrub
Price: $28 for 8oz
Previously reviewed – KP Routine This is a ride or die product for me and I see this remaining in my body care routine!
Price: $46 for 8oz
The Josie Maran Retinol Body Butter was my first time trying retinol for my body. JM is known for their creamy body butters that leave the skin feeling super soft and this is no different from the others. I initially thought this was going to be a super potent formula, but I found it be very mild. That’s probably due to the fact that this is actually made with Dunaliella Salina (Pink Algae) Extract. It’s A pro-retinol that helps reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. A Pro-Retinol is actually gentle retinol derivate and also known for being extremely stable. I did enjoy how moisturized it left my skin, but I can’t say I noticed a drastic physical difference. Even with that being said, I will still continue to use it as I have a backup of it. But I can’t suggest purchasing it just yet at the full retail price.
Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride*, Glycerin*, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seed Oil*, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Cetearyl Olivate*, Sorbitan Olivate*, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Phenoxyethanol, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Sclerotium Gum*, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil*, Octyldodecyl PCA*, Squalane*, Ethylhexylglycerin, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil*, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Oleosomes*, Sorbitan Isostearate, Medicago Sativa (Alfalfa) Extract*, Tetrasodium Glutamate Diacetate, Panthenol, Camellia Sinensis (Green & White Tea) Leaf Extract*, Allantoin, Tocopheryl Acetate, Lecithin*, Sodium Benzoate, Quercetin*, Gluconolactone*, Alkanna Tinctoria Root Extract*, Sodium Hydroxide, Potassium Sorbate, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil*, Symphytum Officinale (Comfrey) Leaf Extract*, Beta-Carotene*, Citric Acid, Dunaliella Salina Extract*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil*, Tocopherol.
Brooklyn Botany Rose Body Scrub
Price: $15 for 10oz
The rose scent body scrub is lightly scented. The base of the scrub is a sugar scrub and it’s formulated with various types of oils. I really enjoyed using this 1-2x a week and found it to be very gentle on my skin. After washing this off, my skin was left even smoother and moisturized! This is definitely one I would recommend to those that are looking for a gentle scrub or if you have very dry skin. Unlike the other scrubs that I’ve tried, this one says that it could also be used on the face. Being that this contains essential oils, be sure to patch test before doing that.

Refreshments PILLOWY SHAVE CREAM
Price: $8 for 4.5 oz
I usually don’t use a shaving cream to shave and would usually use a shower oil. This one smells nice and had a decent amount of lather. I was actually hoping that it would have more a foam texture. I don’t think it helped me to achieve a closer shave either. Overall I would rate this decent. Something I would use if I have it on hand but not something I would personally seek/purchase.

What are some of your beauty products that you have trouble finishing?
For me it’s moisturizers and body lotions. I think it’s because I tend to open so many at a time. I get so excited to use them that I can’t help myself !
