Plan With Me 2020: A closer look into my agenda

I have to admit I’ve always been into stationary, planning and pens. When it would be time to for back to school, I was of course interested in getting new clothing – but I always loved getting new pens and notebooks. Even to this day I’m extremely picky about the pens that I use and I’m constantly purchasing different fine points and colorful ones. With the new year starting along with me purchasing a new Pre-Loved Louis Vuitton Planner, I thought I would share how I plan along with the accessories that I use. If you’re into customizing your planner with inserts, washi tape and stickers the options on Amazon and Etsy are endless in these areas. I look at it as if you have fun decorating and planning, you’re likely to carry around or refer to your planner more frequently.

I started off years ago with using ring bounded agenda’s from Target and Marshall’s. With each one that I purchased I noticed there was always one or two things that I wish I could tailor to fit my personal needs. A year ago I decided to invest and purchase a pre-loved Louis Vuitton PM agenda (pocket/small size). I changed the rings out so it could fit the entire year set up and it was great. I was able to fit it into most of my handbags because of the pocket size. Over the year I ended up growing out of it and moved forward with purchasing the Louis Vuitton MM (medium) agenda pre-loved from a Facebook group.

Sections of Planner & How I Organize

The Planner itself is the Louis Vuitton MM (medium size agenda). The MM agenda is a world difference in comparison to the PM agenda. It has larger rings, thus now allowing me to plan on a monthly and weekly set up. The extra space also meant I was able to add in my own sub-folders to further help with my planning. At the current time my planner is set up as follows:

-Monthly calendar on two pages

-Weekly calendar on two pages

-Weekly To Do inserts

-Blogging section (filled with lined paper)

- Projects/Online orders (filled with lined paper)

-Finances /Wish list (filled with lined paper)

-Misc/Notes section (filled with lined paper)

Price-$6.95

The monthly set up has lines and a section before and after the months to include information, tasks and goals for the month. I love that this set-up starts from Sunday-Saturday. I much prefer my weekly set up starting on Sunday.

Weekly Inserts

Weekly Planning Filofax 2020 Personal/Compact Week to View Lined Refill, Jan 2020- Dec 2020, 6.75 x 3.75 inches (C68418-20)

Price: $13.09

The weekly inserts that I have are from Filofax. Last year I had inserts that were unlined and of yellow-ish tint. I do like that these have lines. I find that this helps to keep my planner looking more uniformed and easier to read. As someone who has pretty large handwriting, I find the space allotted to be sufficient. If you like using stickers and decorating, this size and layout gives you the room to play around with this type of customization. The only con’s for me is I find the pages that it’s printed on too be very thin. If you use a ton of markers, they can possibly bleed over and be seen on the other side. My other con is that the format of the week starts on Monday. I’m used to a Sunday start. Now that I know exactly what I like, I’ll know what to look for next year.

To Do Insert

Personal Size Daily Task Planner Insert, Sized and Punched for Filofax Personal Notebook (3.7" x 6.75")

I love using these inserts as a To-Do List for bills, errands, phone/calls and emails. I love that the back of each sheet is lined and can be used for notes. Instead of using this as a daily to do list, I use this as weekly to do and so far I’s been very helpful with keeping me on track.
